The Stynchula Foundation has outgrown its greenhouse — and that is a wonderful problem to have.
Every season, more families on the spectrum find their way to us, and more young adults join the job-training work at our greenhouse on London Groveport Road. We have simply run out of room to grow. So we are dreaming bigger: 10 acres in Grove City, Ohio, where the Foundation can build a working campus of its own.
The Vision
On this land, the Foundation will build:
- Greenhouses and outdoor growing fields
- An education center, where specialists and case workers can teach job skills and life skills
- A farmers market pavilion, where the harvest is sold
- A processing facility, storage, and a workshop to keep the operation running
- A small bee farm
It is the same model that works today at Trey's Greenhouse — real jobs, real skills, real food — at a scale that can serve the whole community. The campus will let us serve three times as many families and create more jobs and training for people on the spectrum, while fresh produce keeps flowing to local food banks and farmers markets.
See the Land Project Come to Life
Board member Jenny Hicks shares why the Foundation has outgrown its space — and what this campus will become.
The Goal: $800,000
Our goal is $800,000, covering the land purchase and the whole campus build. Gifts of every size move the project forward — from $30 Seed Sowers to $10,000 Cornerstone Partners — and every gift helps put this land in our families' hands for good.
